Brad Layton founded Bradford & Galt
in 1984. The name, "Bradford & Galt," merges Layton's first
name with that of a character, John Galt, from the novel Atlas
Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
In the novel, Galt personifies capitalism and holds the world
on his shoulders, representing Bradford & Galt's commitment
to supporting businesses with outstanding information technology
services delivered with uncompromising integrity. This commitment
to service has led Bradford & Galt to become a valued long-term
partner to our clients and a rewarding workplace for our associates.
Today, St. Louis-based Bradford & Galt also has branch offices
in Kansas City, and Central Illinois (Peoria). Clients include
numerous Fortune 500 companies such as BJC Health System,
Caterpillar, H&R Block, Master Card, Monsanto, Nestle' Purina,
Sprint and Tyco Healthcare.
Layton is a four-time finalist in the service category of
the St. Louis "Entrepreneur of the Year" award sponsored by
INC. magazine. His company is a two-time honoree in
the St. Louis Regional Technology Fast 50 program, sponsored
by Deloitte & Touche and the St. Louis Regional Commerce &
Growth Association. Bradford & Galt has also been recognized
by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the fastest growing
private companies in St. Louis for three consecutive years.
Layton's goal is to become the largest
privately held IT services firm in the Midwest.
